Downtown Riverside Engagement Session | Dan + Hilary

Rarely do I get to have an engagement session in an urban setting but damn do I love it! Downtown Riverside is probably my favorite city location because not only is it so close to my house but it’s relatively quiet compared to areas in Los Angeles County and Orange County.

Dan and Hilary’s wedding is probably going to be in my top 5 favorite weddings of all time because it is on Halloween! Dan and my husband Toby go way back to their high school years living in Missouri and both just so happened to move out to California afterwards at separate times and stayed friends. When Dan reached out to book us for the wedding I was so excited because Toby always has nothing but nice things to say about his long time friend.

On a hot Sunday, Dan, Hilary and myself ventured around all of my favorite spots in Downtown Riverside for their engagement session. Between the wall art by Jeff Soto, the beautiful architecture and the open streets, it’s the rooftop of the parking structures the city has that steal my heart. If you time it right, the golden light off the mountains is perfect.

I am beyond ready for Dan and Hilary’s wedding and will be ecstatic when the day finally arrives. See you in October guys!
