Intimate Joshua Tree Elopement | Courtney + Tyler

As much as I love traditional weddings, elopements are slowly creeping their way into that top spot on types of events I like to shoot.

Joshua Tree is seriously one of the most awesome places to elope at! Whether you choose a venue within the area or pick a spot in the middle of the national park, there will be no disappointment because JT is truly magical. The scenic views of the surrounding mountains mixed in with all the Joshua Trees and rock formations reminds me why this area is one of my favorites to photograph couples together.

After postponing a few times due to Covid, Courtney and Tyler finally said enough is enough and eloped with just me as a witness and I truly felt honored. And I am so happy to share that not only did they get to add a new chapter to their lives this year by getting married but now they are expecting twins! It’s stories like theirs that just make my heart melt and couldn’t be happier for them!
