Mt. Baldy Engagement Session | Hunter + Daniel

Ahhh the mountains, the area I can’t live without! I literally get overwhelmed with excitement anytime my clients tell me they would like their session in the mountains because I am obsessed with everything the cedar and pine trees have to offer in photos.

I was so happy to finally meet this lovely couple in person! Hunter and I connected via Instagram thanks to our mutual love for the band The Front Bottoms. After I shared my favorite song by the band in my Instagram story one day, Hunter messaged me wanting to officially book me for her and Danny’s wedding next year. Music really does help bring people together!

Hunter and Danny are also mountain lovers so they chose to showcase that in their engagement photos by choosing Mt. Baldy for their location. Due to the trail being closed during the state's shutdown period, the area was even more beautiful than I remembered. Since there were no hikers or foot traffic through the area for weeks, everything was overgrown and full of life...I couldn’t have been happier!

I had an absolute blast working with these two as well as the talented videographer Jarrod Mancilla who tagged along with me for this session to get some bts footage that can be found below. I can’t wait to meet up with this fun couple again for their wedding in March 2021!
