Orange County Rustic Backyard Wedding | Cody + Olivia

COVID certainly did not win when it came to Cody and Olivia’s plans to get married. Yes they may have had to make some adjustments to their original vision but in the end, love won this fight.

These two went through so much from March to June not just with their wedding plans but with being front line workers. Olivia is a RN and Cody is a Police Officer so even though California went on lock down mode, Cody and Olivia continued working through it all.

I was in constant contact with Olivia the weeks leading up to their wedding day to see how I could be of any help at all. Everything was set to go as planned but sadly bad news hit. With less than 10 days notice, they received the official word from their booked venue that they would be unable to host the celebration due to the county changing rules and regulations once again. Thankfully, Cody’s family opened up their home in Villa Park for the couple to proceed with getting married on June 27th.

Family, friends and vendors were able to band together successfully so these love birds can lock it down. The two held their ceremony in the front yard and the reception in the backyard and in between the two we made a quick trip over to Santiago Oaks Regional Park for the couple’s romantics. After all the stress and uncertainty, Cody and Olivia hosted a beautiful wedding and I couldn’t be more happy for them.
