Menifee Country Wedding: Haley + Bobby - Menifee, CA (09.28.19)
Oh Haley and Bobby...these two are seriously such a genuine couple. They were referred to me by my friend of over 20 years, Holly, at the very beginning of the year and within days of booking me, I set up their engagement session in Yucaipa. Right off the bat I knew that we were super compatible just by how laid back, relaxed and fun they are. After their session, I was counting down the months to their wedding because I knew the love and passion they have for each other was going to shine even more on the big day, September 28th.
Haley and Bobby booked a private lot in Menifee owned by a friend to say their “I Do’s” and party afterwards at the reception with their family and friends. At this wedding I enlisted the help of my husband Toby to second shoot for me which helped make this day even better because we work so well together and he knows exactly what I ask for from my seconds.
I met up with Haley and her bridesmaids at her sister’s house when she was just finishing up the final hair touches by the extremely talented Natalie Marie. Once Haley got into her dress, she looked like a Vogue model. Complimenting their country styled theme, Haley completed her Mariposa Bridal dress with cowboy boots matching Bobby who at this time was prepping at the venue with his son and groomsmen. Before taking off in the limo, Haley did a reveal in her full attire to her bridesmaids and brought her sister/Maid of Honor to tears.

Shortly before the ceremony began, Bobby took some time away from toasting with his groomsmen to open his personalized gift from Haley. Bobby looked touched when he opened up the box to find an already filled flask with the message “I’ve got your six” engraved on the back.
After Haley did a quick first look with her dad, everyone lined up to make their way down the aisle and begin the official ceremony. Bobby had such a proud look on his face standing at the altar as his son and daughter walked towards him before Haley made her grand entrance. Their ceremony brought tears to guests eyes with the couples vows including ones Haley wrote for Bobby’s children. Tears quickly shifted to smiles when it was time for their ring exchange and the beer uniting ceremony. Yes, you read that right. Instead of sand or candles, Haley and Bobby shared a glass of beer which was also the same brand and type they had on their first date.

For the couples formal portraits, we broke it down into two separate times so we could get some shots in during sunset. These two were so easy to pose and made photographing them smooth sailing because of just how fun and silly they are with each other. They are so in love that I had no problems getting such gorgeous shots of them with the venue’s beautiful backdrop at the top of the hill.

I love how much they involved Bobby’s two children into their wedding. After making their choreographed entrance into the reception and shared their first dance, Haley and Bobby invited the kids to the floor to share a dance all together as one family unit. Cue the tears again because it was truly sweet to witness.
Before the end of the night, the couple still had one more surprise in store for guests. Instead of doing the traditional garter removal, Bobby dressed up in a Top Gun uniform complete with aviator sunglasses and made his way to his wife while Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” played over the speakers. I literally laughed so hard that it took me a second to stop.
