Wedding: Sabrina + Alex | Windmill Canyon Wedding (05.11.19)
Sabrina and Alex are a couple that have a story that warmed my heart. The two have been together for 17 years and are high school sweethearts and during their relationship, the two created two beautiful daughters that they adore. After all these years and life changes, they decided it was time to officially lock it down on May 11, 2019 at Windmill Canyon at Hoy Ranch in Beaumont, CA. I was booked for this wedding alongside my husband Toby who handled the videography and getting to work together with him is always a treat.
Tucked away in the hills between Banning and Moreno Valley, Windmill Canyon is a rustic style venue with a beautiful view during the outdoor ceremony and an authentic barn for the reception. And if that isn’t gorgeous enough, Windmill Canyon also has a breathtaking hilltop that was perfect for sunset photos.
The week leading up to the wedding was a little stressful as we were looking at a full fledged thunder and lightning storm with a high probable chance of rain. But come the morning of, everything seemed to clear up and we were lucky to have just random small bouts of rain here and there. One of those moments came perfectly as the doors opened for Sabrina and her father to walk down the aisle. The sun came shining through behind her as it sprinkled only during her short stroll towards Alex and it gave me goosebumps seeing this in my photos.
Sabrina and Alex’s wedding was filled with love and fun. From the couples private vow exchange with their two daughters during their first look to the silly speeches poking fun at the couple waiting so long to get married, tears of joy were complimented with laughter. Guests really enjoyed the day celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Del Real and making sure they felt the love and support on their next journey together.
